Bus Services

Stondon is served by two bus services. The Whitbread Wanderbus run by volentiers and is inexpensive servicing a larger area and Commercial Services

 

Whitbread Wanderbus

Serving the villages South East of Bedford and your local community bus service is managed and driven by volunteers for the benefit of its passengers.

We are a service available to the whole community whether you are young or old - and we do accept bus passes.

Routes and Areas Served

Whitbread Wanderbus - serving the Stondon, Shefford and Henlow Areas with routes to Bedford, Shefford , Biggleswade and Milton Keynes, Stevenage, Hitchin, Baldock and Letchworth.

We can also hire the bus to certain groups at very preferential terms and in some cases at no cost.

 Commercial Buses

A small number of Commercial Service link us to Bedford, Hitchin and surrounding areas.

These services run all day and generally stop early evening.
