About Us

Welcome to Stondon Parish Council website. Stondon is a thriving village situated in Mid or Central Bedfordshire. Like many villages there is a lot more to Stondon than you might think! The village includes areas known as Lower Stondon & Upper Stondon - we prefer to call it Stondon Stondon lies 5 miles to the North of Hitchin just within the administrative area of Central Bedfordshire Council and just north of the border with Hertfordshire. Stondon has a population of approximately 1800 residents. The purpose of our website is to collate on a single web site, all relevant information in connection with both Stondon Parish Council and the local community.
