To all businesses and associations based in Stondon (Upper or Lower) or Henlow Camp!

Gearing up for the Season of Goodwill!

Stondon Parish Council have made ground improvements and installed a Christmas tree on the A600 roundabout at the crossing of Bedford Road and Station Road/Hitchin Road. Whilst this will enhance the Parish during the Festive Season, we also feel that it would be an opportunity to support a local charity in addition to offsetting some of the start-up costs involved in providing the infrastructure for positioning the tree on the roundabout. The tree is illuminated and approximately 6m in height.

We invite contributions to the Stondon Parish Council Christmas appeal.

From your contributions we will pass at least 50% on to a charity of our choice and publicly recognise your efforts through postings on our social media site, the Parish Council's website, Parish Council minutes and a forthcoming issue of the Parish Council newsletter. If the total contributions exceed all the setup costs, then all additional monies will be passed on to a charity of our choice.

We would be grateful if you could make your contributions by 12th December to enable us to collate and publish a complete list of contributors by 20th December, alongside the total donation passed on to the charity.

Names of organisations and a contact point will be made publicly available which will enhance the reputation of your business.

Please send your donations to:- James Stirling, Parish Clerk, Stondon Parish Council, c/o 31 Plum Tree Road, Lower Stondon, SG16 6NE. email - clerk@stondon-pc.gov.uk

Cheques should be made payable to Stondon Parish Council or on-line to Lloyds Bank Sort Code 30-90-79 Account no 20357560. Please use the reference which is a combination of "Xmas-" with your company name. Please email the Clerk when the payment was made.

Please ensure you provide contact information and details of a public contact point with your contribution and we will add your details to our publication list here.
