Have Your Say on the Poppyfields Community Garden
Stondon Parish Council is inviting residents to share their ideas for the Poppyfields Community Garden (to the rear of the Doctor’s Surgery on Beverly Drive) — a green space created for reflection, relaxation, and community enjoyment.
The garden already features pathways, trees, wildflower areas, and flower beds, but there’s still plenty of potential for how it could be developed and maintained in the future.
We’d like to hear your thoughts on the style and use of the space — should it be a more traditional, neatly maintained garden with regular mowing and clear planting beds, or would you prefer a more natural look that supports local wildlife and seasonal change and manned by volunteers to promote biodiversity?
Your feedback will help guide how the garden is managed so it reflects the wishes of the community.
