The Parish Council wants to make you aware of some potential challenges with local roadworks. The Parish Council has pushed all the contacts they can for information and concerns on lack of coordination. Our Ward Councillors are arranging meetings and discussions with those involved to try and ensure road closures and traffic lights are kept to a minimum.
The following information was presented at last weeks Parish Council meeting and subject to change.
Bloor – Entrance- Bedford Road North
Traffic lights from: 09/01/23 to 17/03/23
Road closure: 17/03/23 to 31/03/23
Redrow – Bedford Road South
4 way lights – two weeks from 23 Jan to 13 Feb (approx.)
S278 works Barrett/Redrow entrance – about 10 weeks traffic light management (two and three way) 13 Feb till about 10 April
Hitchin Road (possibly postponed)
Installation of a NEW CULVERT and S278 Works Length affected: From the roundabout with the A507 to the Entrance of “Old Manor Farm”
Road Closure: 6th February until the 7th MARCH 2023
