Play parks at the Recreation Ground, Fakeswell Lane and BMX Track are now open!
The Parish Council have been working with the Stondon Recreation Association (SRA) to help them open the play parks and BMX track. Yesterday our Clerk, James Stirling, went round and opened them up and posted signage. They had remained closed as the SRA needed to implement relevant insurance cover for the sites.
Please note that The SRA will NOT be cleaning the equipment.
All play areas across Stondon are now open and available for use.
You need to follow the Government guidelines for your own safety and the safety of others.
If you are displaying symptoms stay at home.
- Follow current social distancing guidelines
- Only one household to use one piece of play equipment at any one time
- Bring your own hand sanitiser/wipes to clean equipment before and after use
- Remind children not to put their mouths on equipment or put their hands near their face
- Wash your hands before and after visiting the site
- If this play area is busy, please come back later
- Please be patient and kind
- Do not consume food or drink in the play area
- Please dispose of your litter properly and take it home (this includes the disposal of gloves, face masks or any other PPE)
