CBC have confirmed of funding for a new, improved roundabout at the busy junction with the A6 and A507 in Clophill
Central Bedfordshire Council successfully bid for £6.8 million of funding, to support a £7.8 million scheme.
The project will make a big difference for Clophill residents and people using the popular route.
It will provide a new, improved layout and more capacity to reduce queuing particularly at peak times.
Enhancements will also be made to the walking and cycling routes close to the junction.
We await more detail on this project.
