If you are a homeowner living in Central Bedfordshire, you can now apply for grant funding to pay for loft and cavity wall insulation from the government’s Green Homes Grant Scheme.
The Green Homes Grant scheme seeks to improve the energy efficiency of homes to help reduce fuel poverty, work towards phasing out high carbon fossil fuel heating systems and contribute toward carbon reduction targets.
Insulating your home can provide the following benefits:

- a reduction in carbon emissions

- improved warmth and comfort
- reduced property maintenance requirements
- insurance backed guarantees
Loft insulation is one of the most simple, affordable and effective methods of improving your home’s energy efficiency and lower your energy bills with the potential to save £100’s on annual energy bills.
Terms and conditions apply and only private homeowners with a combined annual income of no more than £30,000 will be eligible. The first 10 people to be confirmed financially eligible, house confirmed as suitable and works completed will receive a £20 M&S voucher.

All measures must be in place by March 2022 and applications will close in February 2022.
Work to insulate homes will be carried out for free with no cost for materials, or labour by our contractor, Cornerstone Ltd.
