We know of a scam where people receive a text message stating they have a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) from the local council (CBC/NHDC) and a link to pay it.
This is a scam – they never send texts containing a link to pay a PCN.
Please ignore these texts and do not click the link to make a payment.
You will only receive a PCN as a physical ticket on your vehicle, or handed to the driver by a Civil Enforcement Officer.
