Stondon Green Infrastructure (GI) Plan – Drop-In Event

Green Infrastructure (GI) Plans identify community aspirations for enhancing the public access, wildlife, heritage and landscape aspects of their parish. Successful GI Plans lead to improvements for recreation, health, fitness and mental wellbeing.

The Stondon GI Plan will be used to inform policies within the Stondon Neighbourhood Plan; and includes opportunities for protecting important Local Green Spaces.

We are holding a drop-in event to build on the results of the GI survey undertaken earlier in 2021. The event will be hosted by representatives of the Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BedsRCC) and the Stondon Neighbourhood Plan group.

During this drop-in event you will have the opportunity to review and comment on the aspirations identified to date, as well as put forward your own ideas for enhancing the local environment of Stondon.

Even if you only have 5 minutes to pop in, we would appreciate your feedback.

Saturday 27th November 2021, between 11am – 3pm at Stondon Baptist Church (27a Station Road, Lower Stondon).
