Grant for Park Home owners
We have extended our Green Homes Grant, after receiving nearly £4m of extra funding by the Government, to enable the installation of cladding and insulation for park homes at an extra 12 sites across central Bedfordshire.
The Green Homes Grant is in addition to one that was launched last year, which saw four park homes sites share almost £1m to improve their homes. The grant will improve the health and wellbeing for park home residents, as well as reduce fuel poverty.
The 16 park home sites which are eligible are:

- Caddington Park, Caddington
- Clifton Park, Clifton
- Collins Wood Park, Caddington
- Downlands Park Homes, Pepperstock
- Hillcrest Park, Woodside
- Kings Arms Farm, Hockcliffe
- Little Meadows & The Grove, Grove Park Road, Caddington
- Manor Court, Biggleswade
- Pine View Park, Maulden
- Poplar Farm, Totternhoe
- Stratton Park Drive, Biggleswade
- The Vynes, Leighton Buzzard
- Three Star Park, Bedford Road, Lower Stondon
- Villa Park, Cranfield
- Whipsnade Park, Whipsnade
The focus of the Green Homes Grant is to improve the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of park homes by increasing thermal efficiency. The grant will improve the energy efficiency of older, poorly insulated park homes through external wall insulation. In addition, some homes may receive underfloor insulation and loft insulation.
