We ask if you have had an allotment before as many don’t realise the level of commitment needed and effort needed.
We also need to check that you live in the administrative boundary (Parish) of Stondon.
If you live within 4 km or 2.5 miles of the allotments, we may add you to the list.
If you live further than 4 km, we may discuss this with you if we have vacant plots.
Allotments will be initially offered to those living in the administrative boundary (Parish) of Stondon.
We will then consider those that live outside the Parish if there are vacant allotments.
Payments for the allotment rent covers the years or any part of it.
The deposit of £75 is refunded if you decide to leave, as long as the plot is left clear.
We will make the final decision on the refund.
We require allotment holders to cultivate their plot within the first year, failure to do so may mean we will ask you to vacate your plot.
