Henlow Camp and RAF Henlow
The A600 is bisected by the Parish boundary and on the other side of the road is Henlow Camp. This is has a number of Shops, Take-aways and the RAF base. The main role of the Station is to provide support and accommodation for its numerous Lodger Units. At Henlow, Lodger Units include the RAF Centre for Aviation Medicine; the Joint Arms Control Implementation Group and the Provost Marshal (RAF) with his Tactical Provost Wing (TPW) and No 1 Specialist Police Wing.

Stondon Friendship Club
SFC is a small group of people of all ages young and old. We play bingo and have a cup of tea after. We are very friendly and we go on outings once a month. All Saints Church
The church of All Saints, one of the smallest in the county, is reputed to have belonged to Merton Priory in the 13th Century, but at the Dissolution there was was no mention of it in the list of Priory possessions. The present church was rebuilt in 1857 to replace the Norman building, but it retains a Norman stone altar slab and inner door to the tower. Its registers date from 1683. It has a short chancel, much higher than the nave and a porch tower with a pyramid roof. In the church yard is an unusual grave for three little girls who fell through ice and drowned in 1880.
Stondon Baptist Church
Stondon Baptist Church is a daughter church to Tilehouse Street in Hitchin, in Hertfordshire. Stondon was founded jointly by the fellowships of Tilehouse Street and Shefford as a mission station to a small hamlet community. At some point the the link with Shefford was broken, and no record of when. The present building is dates back 1863.

BEDFORDSHIRE POLICE PARTNERSHIP TRUST
Bedfordshire Police Partnership Trust’s Bobby Scheme was launched over 11 years ago, originally with one Bobbyman Roger Tuck, attending the homes of elderely victims of crime to improve their security, offer reassurance and prevent them becoming victims again. Since then they now have 5 Bobbymen, all qualified carpenters and not only attend victims, but elderely or vulnerable people to iomprove their security and prevent them becoming victims in the first place. The team have attended over 14,000 homes in Bedfordshire and have made a major impact in preventing crime. The Bobby Team carry out a survey of the house and identify any vulnerable areas and where appropriate, improve the security with locks, door chains and viewers etc. They are also in partnership with Bedfordshire & Luton Fire & Rescue Servic fitting smoke detectors. The service is generally free, but as the Bedfordshire Police Partnership Trust is a charity, donations of whatever amount are always welcome. Their service is for those people over the age of 65, or vulnerable or disabled. Neighbourhood Alert messaging system
The Neighbourhood Alert system has been designed and constructed by VISAV Limited: a Sherwood based I.T. and training company. VISAV Limited have sponsored Neighbourhood Watch in Nottingham since 2003 and the Neighbourhood Alert message broadcasting system has been developed to compliment their existing Neighbourhood Watch facilities. VISAV Limited has also developed a Neighbourhood Watch administration back-office tool that provides an advanced I.T. solution for Police Forces, Local Authorities and members of Neighbourhood Watch. Facilities include a Scheme builder, Crime notification alerts, graphs and charts regarding crime on participating streets and an incident reporting system.
